I'm fundraising for a great cause!
2020 has been a year none of us will forget in a long time.
It has meant the cancelling of a lot of events and many charities have been unable to run their events to raise much needed funds for their cause. Earlier this year the JDRF missed out with the unfortunate cancelling of the Revolve24 event in which MasterPlan had entered several teams as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility charter.
It's only fitting that myself and a team of riders from MasterPlan and our affiliates take on this challenge for the JDRF. Accordingly, I’m doing the JDRF One Ride to raise funds for type 1 diabetes!
This means I will be riding aiming to ride a combined 1,000 km (Combination of Virtual and In Real Life) from 29th Aug to 20th September alongside the world’s biggest cycling event in France.
While I am challenging myself and competing against other cyclists, I am also raising funds to support research to cure, prevent and better treat type 1 diabetes.
Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 7 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy. JDRF is the largest funder of type 1 diabetes research in the world.
DONATE NOW to help change the lives of more than 120,000 Australians living with T1D. Thank you!
