My Activity Tracking
My target 500 kms
I'm fundraising for a great cause!
I’m doing the JDRF One Ride to raise funds for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research! This means I will be riding from 1st to 30th September 2021 to achieve my KM target while competing against other cyclists across Australia.
This year is particularly significant for the T1D community as it marks 100 years since the discovery of insulin. Despite many advances in the past century, insulin remains the only treatment option for people living with type 1 diabetes. This means the needles, injections, finger pricks, bulky devices and constant monitoring remain a part of everyday life for anyone living with this condition.
JDRF is the largest funder of T1D research in the world and believes we shouldn't have to wait another 100 years for the next major breakthrough.
DONATE NOW to support me so we can help change the lives of more than 125,000 Australians living with T1D.
Let’s make type 1 diabetes a memory, not a milestone. Thank you!
JDRF ride goals 👍Sunday 19th Sep Huge thanks to everyone for their support. I have reached both the fundraising goals already. I’ve riden 530km & raised $1003. Today I rode simply for pleasure & enjoyed a Sunday morning coffee. The bikes up on the stand for its 500km service 😜 I imagine I’ll continue my daily rides for pleasure & of course would appreciate if anyone wants to still donate, open for the whole month of Sept. 🚴♂️

Thank you :)Saturday 28th Aug Just reaching out to say thank you to those who have already donated. Every cent helps towards this great cause.
Riding to honour JaidaSunday 8th Aug My little girl Jaida was diagnosed with T1DM at only 18mths & has had the benefit of the advancement of diabetes management to help her live her life to the fullest. We as a family are grateful for all the support the JDRF community offer to families living with T1DM & the daily struggles that come with it. Jaida, now 8 yrs old shows us every day strength, determination & courage & doesn't let diabetes stop her from living life to the fullest, dancing & peforming & showing everyone that living with T1DM will not stand in her way. I want to show Jaida & JDRF our appreciation and will be riding 500km throughout the month of September. All donations will go to JDRF & the ongoing research to allow family's like us to support their loved ones live their best life. Please dig deep for this great cause. Share
