Riding 1000km's to change lives

My Activity Tracking

My target 1000 kms

I'm fundraising for a great cause, one close to my heart

There are more than 125,000 aussies living with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) and I know one of them particularly well.

I know how much T1D affects every aspect of someone’s life. There are constant physical, mental and emotional impacts to deal with from this chronic condition. There is never a day off.

I’m doing the JDRF One Ride this September to raise funds for T1D research. The challenge I’ve set myself is to ride 1,500km and raise $1,500.

This year marks 100 years since the discovery of insulin; still the only treatment option for people living with T1D.  JDRF is the largest funder of T1D research in the world and believes we shouldn't have to wait another 100 years for the next major breakthrough.

With ongoing lockdowns and restrictions in Melbourne right now it’s going to be tricky, but I guess that just makes it more of a challenge!  I also understand people might not have too much spare cash during a pandemic, but anything you can donate will help and is very much appreciated. Thank you!

Thank you to my Sponsors
