Help me raise money to research Type 1 Diabetes
This is the second year that I have done this ride. I did just on 1000km's last year and hope to do the same in 2021 but maybe without fracturing my collarbone.
I’m doing the JDRF One Ride to raise funds for type 1 diabetes as this will help my sister Jo and other people with T1 (T1 is not a dietary issue - its an illness that cant be fixed). This means I will be riding over the month of September to challenge myself and competing against other cyclists whilst raising funds to support research to cure, prevent and better treat type 1 diabetes.
Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy. JDRF is the largest funder of type 1 diabetes research in the world.
DONATE NOW to help change the lives of more than 125,000 Australians living with T1D. Thank you!
