Riding 80km's to change lives

I'm fundraising for a great cause!

This will be my 5th JDRF ride, but this time it has additional meaning for me.

In April, my daughter Camille was diagnosed with Type 1.

They say that when a person gets Type 1, the whole family gets it too. Not medically, but in terms of change and impact. This is true.

I will be riding on 29 November 2025 through the picturesque Barossa Valley to raise money and awareness. I will be surrounded by friends, family, their supporters, and a large chunk of the Type 1 community.

While I am challenging myself, I am also raising funds to help improve the lives of those living with type 1 diabetes.

Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break (for Cami's Mum in particular) and people living with type 1 diabetes or their carers face an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy. JDRF is the largest funder of type 1 diabetes research in the world. They do a terrific job, and they deserve our support.

Please, DONATE NOW to help change the lives of more than 130,000 Australians living with T1D. Thank you!
