For 15 years, the JDRF One Ride saw 300 cyclists each year tackle KM challenges in the beautiful Barossa Valley, raising over $14M for type 1 diabetes research. Last year, we took the One Ride virtual in the midst of the pandemic and were honoured to receive an incredible response. This year we’re bringing back the One Ride virtually with the hope of uniting across borders, beyond lockdowns and above adversity to accomplish JDRF’s vision of a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D).

JDRF is the leading supporter of type 1 diabetes (T1D) research in the world.

Our mission? Accelerating life-changing breakthroughs to improve lives and cure type 1 diabetes. JDRF has transformed the understanding of this disease and been part of every breakthrough in T1D care in the last 45
years.

2021 marks 100 years since the discovery of insulin. While there has been a lot of progress in the past century, insulin still remains the only treatment option for people living with type 1 diabetes. We don’t want to wait another 100 years for the next big breakthrough.

Could you be the 1 to help us fund the next research milestone? Join the One Ride and help JDRF in our pursuit of the ultimate goal – a cure. Together, we can turn type one into type none and change the lives of more than 125,000 Australians.
