We are fundraising for a great cause
Hi There,
Peter & I have joined the JDRF One Ride to raise funds for type 1 diabetes!
Peter was diagnosed with TD1 at 9 years & has been insulin dependent since.
This means Peter & I will be raising funds for JDRF & then riding 160km’s on the 17th Feb. 2024 through the Barossa Valley.
Whilst Peter & I are challenging ourselves, we’re also raising funds to help improve the lives of those living with & Type 1 diabetes & those yet to be diagnosed.
TD1 can strike anyone at any time, and 8 people are diagnosed every day in Australia.
Diagnosis of TD1 means a 24/7, 180 extra decisions/day just to remain safe & healthy.
JDRF is the largest funder of type 1 diabetes research in the world.
